This January, our amazing partners from Cultural Cuba brought the entire Houlahan team to Cuba for 5 days to learn more about this fascinating destination.
Cuba's vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality were remarkable. From the colorful streets of Havana to the lush countryside, we were captivated. We had the chance to engage with local artisans and teachers, experience the music and dance that are central to Cuban identity, and sample incredible cuisine.
This trip also provided us with fresh perspectives on creativity and resilience. The innovative spirit of the Cuban people reminded us of the importance of adaptability and thinking outside the box, lessons important to us all. We learned to salsa dance, had a cooking lesson, visited the place that was the birthplace of the mojito and had rum tastings, as well as visiting boutique shops and cafes and mingling with the Cuban people.
